Techno Enterprises is the products subsidiary of Scientific and Innovative Research and Development.
SIRAD is a small research and development company based in London and established in 1990.
The company devotes its time in providing first class service to
the engineering and scientific community. We provide a friendly and diverse
service for a variety of engineering problems regardless of the size of
the project. The core of our business encompasses product development from
concept to completion. We can help with patenting and search as well as
development and manufacturing. Our liaison with major research establishments
and Universities can provide out clients with state-of-the-art testing
facilities, rapid prototyping, rig building , systems testing and development
of all kind.
Below are a few examples of the diverse activities undertaken so
far:
Computational and experimental fluid mechanics using CFD transonic codes on gas and steam turbine blade rows. The verification of the results using laser-two-focus, pneumatic and hot-wire anaemometry testing equipment all built by our Company. Amongst the clients served by the company are Rolls Royce aerodivision, GE industrial power division and Holset.
The product range that we develop is very diverse and can range from small self-contained electrolarynx device worn like a denture to a mechanical shutter-like ramp to assist disabled persons and wheel chair users accessibility on unleveled surfaces and steps.
The Healthcare Division supplies and distributes quality instruments such as Blood Pressure Monitors, Thermometers and other diagnostic devices to retailers and wholesalers.
The company has had close ties with major industries and reputable academic institutions throughout the world , thus making it possible to design and test any device for its suitability prior to marketing. Examples of our recent programmes are as follows:
Prorotyping and building of a self contained device to help the larygectomee patients . The product is used as denture and produces low frequency sound waves which can be manipulated by the mouth to form coherent speech.
A flexible aluminium ramp to aid the wheel chair and disabled users over obstacles. The ramp consists of many modules and when laid down on any surface, rough or flat, can conform itself to that contour hence assisting the wheel chair user for example to climb uneven steps or obstruction in and outside the house.
